The Reflective Designer is now celebrating it's 22nd year in business. The owner, Joseph Barnett, has been in the business for over 40 years and has been featured in national publications, as well as local magazines and newspapers, including a feature in the Boston Globe.

A few years ago, The Reflective Designer won a national contest by Hunter Douglas for one of their clients. The client was awarded a check for $10,000 for the creative design done in their daughter's room.

Joseph Barnett is the past Northeast Director of the Window Covering Association of America (WCAA), and was instrumental in developing the Local Chapter of the WCAA.

Having hands-on experience as a retailer, Joseph Barnett realized that a graphic design tool could be developed to quickly show the client various choices and help close the sale. It is amazing how the clients give high regard to the print out that the computer generates from the program. The ease of using The Reflective Designer Showcase, as well as its inexpensive price has truly made it a software package for the whole industry - not just a few large dealers who can more easily afford expensive computer software.
